Broadband infrastructure adds another layer. This affects both synchronous instruction and the ability to administer device management systems at scale.
Applicants must demonstrate existing administrative capacity to manage hardware inventories across multiple sites and to coordinate vendor contracts without dedicated IT staff. Proposals should include letters from regional education service centers confirming access to shared technical support networks. Budget narratives must separate equipment acquisition from training line items and show how replacement cycles will be funded after the initial award period.
Unlike applications from neighboring states with denser population centers, Texas requires evidence that delivery models account for frontier county designations and variable energy-sector employment patterns. Reviewers assess whether the organization can sustain device refresh schedules given documented local funding volatility.
