Grant Supporting Nonprofits Pursuing Meaningful work in Texas (USA)
GrantID: 44926
Grant Funding Amount Low: Open
Deadline: Ongoing
Grant Amount High: Open
Summary
This grant opportunity supports nonprofit organizations pursuing meaningful work in well-defined geographic areas: namely parts of Minnesota, Dallas, the northern San Francisco Bay Area/Marin County, and the Vail Valley region. It is not designed for individuals, small private businesses, or brand-new start-ups: eligible applicants must be 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations.
Funding is available for programs and ongoing projects — especially those that align with broader themes such as whole-person health and wellbeing, leadership development, youth growth, community strengthening, spirituality or inner-life support, environmental stewardship, and youth development. The emphasis is often on initiatives that have already been established (not first-year pilots), and on organizations with some structural stability and capacity.
If selected, grantees may receive support for programmatic costs (rather than capital improvements, endowments, or scientific/medical research), helping them deliver services, run initiatives, and sustain operations. The funding is typically used to support holistic health and wellness initiatives, community-based services, youth enrichment, leadership training, or environmentally centered work — always with an emphasis on transformational and community-serving impact.
Interested nonprofits begin by submitting a short Letter of Inquiry (LOI) during one of two application windows per year. Depending on the focus area, LOIs are accepted either between early September and early January, or between early March and early June. After review, a small number of applicants are invited to submit full proposals, and final funding decisions are made twice per year. Because of the competitive nature of the process, only a small portion of LOIs result in awarded grants.
Overall, this grant opportunity is well suited for established nonprofit organizations operating in the specified regions, with ongoing programs in holistic health, community wellness, youth support, or spiritual/inner-life enrichment — especially those already demonstrating impact and stability.
Organizations and individuals based in Texas who are engaged in Faith Based may be eligible to apply for this funding opportunity. To discover more grants that align with your mission and objectives, visit The Grant Portal and explore listings using the Search Grant tool.
